My statement
|
|
My current works have a fusion of happy colors, amusing figures, stories being expressed outright or subtly.
In explaining my creations, I have to tell you, they are a medley of my happy upbring in tropical Brazil, my exposure to media and celebrities frenzied days of ours, and a prevalent escapist attitude we see everywhere, of the harsh realities of today's world.

I have been a full time artist for the past five years
.
For 2008, besides painting, I am planning to deliver a series of speeches about "Outstanding Brazilian Artists, Their times, Art, Legacy", and another one about "Making Art and Succeeding, A Business Approach for Artists". It will be worth your time attending the two of them. Stand by for dates, places and fees.
