My statement
|

|
I make paintings informed by digital processes using very tradional methods found in hard edged abstraction. I extract images off the internet and physically recompose them and essentially acting as an algorithmic painter. I use rigid systems that remove my personal taste from my work. My sketches for my paintings are almost architectual and following my system, anyone can make them. My paintings transpire into a series of video works and sound installations that are also minimal. I also use technology that is accessable to the middle class.
