      My statement
Desire, Fear and Death. I look at them with a sense of detachment. In his latest series of paintings he objectifies the human desire as commodities. Car, a commodity that everyone wants these days comes to play a major role in my works. For me desire is an internal force that makes man to move further. However, it comes with a price. Each fulfillment of desire engenders fear; socio-psychological fear. With the pace of the car man wants to defer death and the passing of time.
My works do not present desire as an object and target of its own. Here the cars are seen in their various stages of collapse. They are cars that met with accidents. Even in their crushed states they look desirable objects. I articulate a possibility of retrieval. These crushed cars with their polished surfaces signify the charm of fear and death. In a reversal process, even death becomes desirable when it is packaged in the most coveted way. These crushed cars open up the possibility of reading the death wish of the contemporary society.
In my works one cannot witness the human being as a victim. They look like sanitized accidents, devoid of blood and pain. They even look like custom made accidents. This detaching of human figures from the scheme of painting is deliberate on my part. My foreboding is that to make the desire possible, the element of agony should be taken out, even if in the final counting desire generates only agony.
I am witness of these accidents. It simulates the mental state with which the people read newspapers or watch television news. Even the goriest of accidents look revoltingly aesthetical when it is mediated through picture and words. The sense of pain that triggers the pangs of the original (accident) is extracted to present the accident as a simulation of it. Simulation, as a copy of copy, in its multiple mediation becomes an object of desire. I engages this notion of desire in my works
