Mission statement

|
Visual Overture Magazine is a quarterly art zine developed to promote and empower the emerging artist, and connect that artist with contemporary galleries. Our aim is to introduce exceptional emerging artists to galleries, curators, and art collectors in the Southern Atlantic region (VA, NC, SC, GA, FL).
Each quarter, a distinguished juror hand picks five featured artists working in a variety of media. Each issue presents the exciting and new artwork of some of the best under-represented professional artists in the world today. In addition to the visual stimuli portrayed in the magazine, short interviews with the artist and notes from the juror will reveal contemporary thought and give fresh levels of perception to the world of new art.
