My statement
|
|
|
My work is negative based photography-gelatin silver prints sometimes imbued with dye. It is somewhat expressionist in nature in that I spontaneously respond to the projected negative selectively processing areas of the image. I often write my way to an image. This serves as a preliminary emotional sketch to guide my work. If I feel it is appropiate, I publish my writing in conjunction with my exhibit.
