Mission statement

|
D Berman Gallery exhibits contemporary fine art with an emphasis on regional artists. The gallery artists represented include many of Texas' most established artists and several fresh, emerging talents. The gallery strives to promote an appreciation for art in central Texas.

Working on paper allows a freedom in the gesture that might not be possible in another medium; it permits freshness and immediacy, even an intimacy. D Berman Gallery is pleased to present five artists who work on paper with different media and to very different effects. |

Upcoming:
D Berman Gallery is pleased to present an exhibition of prints and drawings on paper by four artists: D Berman veteran Jeffrey Dell, and three of Dell’s former students from Texas State University - Adrienne Butler, Yuko Fukuzumi, and Clifton Riley, each of whom has a promising career in art making.
Adrienne Butler went from Texas State to Cranbrook Academy in Michigan to achieve her MFA. Her interest is in printmaking and installation work. Butler will teach at Texas State in the fall.
Jeffrey Dell is a master printmaker whose current focus is serigraphy, creating sensuous, complex works with as many as 45 screen layers.
Yuko Fukuzumi creates origami-like silk screen prints with a brilliant palette. She will participate in the New Prints Program/Winter at the prestigious International Print Center in New York this year.
